Founded in 2010 by Bron Batten and composer Edward Gould, this choir of ever-changing-names has brought joy to the ears and hearts of many who have heard them.
Currently called Choir Straits, formerly called Choir Choir Pants on Fire, we perform original arrangements of popular songs, such as Justin Timberlake mashed up with the Lion King and Kanye West intertwined with Natalie Imbruglia.
We have performed at The Melbourne International Comedy Festival, at The Last Tuesday Society, The 2010 Next Wave Festival, on the Triple R radio show Lime Champions, at the 2011 Melbourne International Jazz Festival and most recently at The Meat Market as part of the performance event Hot August Nights.
